Curtin University’s Dean of Global Futures Joe Siracusa says Israel’s latest airstrike shows they are “influencing American politics”.

This follows Israel’s airstrike on a central Beirut apartment complex.

“I think the Israelis have not only influenced events for the next 10-15 years in the area, but they’re also influencing American politics,” Mr Siracusa told Sky News Australia.

“Biden and Kamala Harris are ducking for cover about these questions.

“Trump doesn’t quite know what to say about it.”
