Oshiomhole Says Nigerians Are Poorer + FG Gives N25K To N25M Nigerians| W/OjyOkpe
As many women across the globe shared survival stories to mark breast cancer day, as a testament that the disease is no longer a death sentence, due to early detection, a medical doctor in a now viral video has proffered solutions on how men can avoid prostate cancer.
Doctor Rasheed Abasi suggested in a Radio interview that men are biologically wired to be polygamous and must engage in frequent sexual activities to avoid an enlarged prostate.
The Federal Government on Thursday, said that 25 million Nigerians have already received the ₦25,000 Naira conditional cash transfer, to cushion the effect of the removal of subsidies and other policy reforms being implemented by the government.

Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani has approved a new minimum wage of ₦72,000 for state civil servants, set to begin in November 2024.
In a statement by Chief Press Secretary Ibrahim Musa, the governor highlighted that the increase aligns with his administration’s commitment to improving workers welfare and supporting the underserved.
Additionally, Sani introduced a Free Transportation Scheme for civil servants, deploying 100 CNG buses to ease commuting.

Nigeria's Miss Universe contestant, Chidimma Adetshina, who is set to represent the country at this year's global competition in November, arrived in Mexico on Tuesday.
However, her participation has been met with opposition from a South African group, the Progressive Forces, who have launched a petition to prevent her from competing in the Miss Universe 2024.
The group argued that her involvement in the contest could jeopardize the integrity of the Miss Universe brand. The petition, which was initiated on Wednesday, has since recorded over 1,000 signatures.
