WHO Director-General Dr Tedros address on healthy, safe & resilient workplaces for all.

At the Global Policy Forum of ICOH-2024, the Director-General of WHO, Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, informed participants that WHO will launch in 2024 a new global framework for making workplaces safer, healthier, and more resilient to public health emergencies. He also urged the global occupational health community to provide training and services for improving occupational health practices in the health sector, and identify innovative ways for delivering occupational health services to all workers. Expanding access to occupational health services through primary health care is an important part of every country’s journey towards universal health coverage.
