World Health Organisation (WHO) External Monitoring for Intensified Mission Indradhanush (IMI) 3.0

Intensified Mission Indradhanush (IMI) 3.0- 2021 (vaccination program) scheme has been started to reach the unreached population with all the vaccines available under Universal Immunisation Programme (UIP) and accelerate the full immunization and complete immunization coverage of children and pregnant women. Launched in October 2017. It aimed to achieve at least 90% pan-India immunization coverage by 2022. Different health organizations volunteer as external monitors to ensure that the program is running smoothly and the population residing in high-risk areas is getting benefitted from the program, one such agency is WHO. In this video, I have shared my experience of working as an external monitor for WHO in some high-risk areas.
